The modernisation of the station is a combination of history and modernity. On the station’s façade, clinker tiles in a natural brick colour and architectural details were restored. The roof in the higher part is covered with plain roof tiles in a brick colour, and in the lower single-storey part and on the new canopy with sheet metal in dark grey. At night, the station in Kuźnica is illuminated.
Thanks to the reconstruction, passenger service was restored at the station. The facility has two waiting rooms, including one seasonal. Both spaces are air-conditioned, furnished in modern greys and equipped with benches, display cases, bins and a voice information system, and in the hall electronic train arrival and departure boards additionally appeared.
The station was additionally provided with a public-address system — this is the result of our work. In addition, we installed Ambient Noise Level Sensors, Amplifiers, 55″ Station Summary Displays and, in the toilets, an SP-SOS-WC System.
