As part of the project: “Construction of the Wrocław Szczepin railway stop on line no. 143 together with the reconstruction of the railway viaduct over Długa Street in Wrocław and the necessary infrastructure”, we were engaged in creating a passenger-friendly interchange point in Wrocław’s metropolitan transport.
The completed project covers the equipping of the linear facility with a uniform, comprehensive, automatic passenger information system that is part of the PKP PLK Central Dynamic Passenger Information System (CSDIP). The public-address and visual information subsystems are controlled by the Central Dynamic Passenger Information Application (CASDIP) deployed at PKP PLK, which streams timetable data to the devices located at the Wrocław Szczepin passenger stop, resulting in real-time timetable information being displayed.
The installed and commissioned CSDIP and SMW devices include, among others, 8 platform-edge displays, 4 info-kiosks, 4 double-sided clocks, train motion sensors and a complete Video Monitoring System covering the station area, the platforms and the approaches to the platforms.
