Platform-edge displays of the HUSAR WKR 2E series are specialised outdoor devices designed to present precise information about trains making scheduled stops — including services departing from, arriving at or terminating on the track adjacent to the platform edge at which they are installed. The devices are fully adapted to continuous cooperation with dynamic passenger information systems (CSDIP/SDIP), which guarantees immediate synchronisation of train movement data. Designed for operation in harsh outdoor weather conditions on railway platforms, these displays guarantee fault-free and uninterrupted round-the-clock operation, seven days a week. The safety and stable operation of sensitive components is ensured by an advanced, integrated electrical protection system — including residual-current, overcurrent and surge protection — guaranteeing the highest level of protection for the built-in electronic modules, the control computer, the monitor and the dedicated air-conditioning unit.
