The modular SOS panel of the HUSAR MP series is a highly flexible industrial-class two-way voice and video communication system, designed to provide the highest level of safety for travellers at stations, railway stations and integrated interchange hubs. The device enables the immediate establishment of a direct audio connection between the passenger and the support staff or the dispatcher of the monitoring centre in emergency situations, initiated by a single press of a dedicated alarm button, with the simultaneous automatic transmission of the video image of the person reporting the incident. The system’s architecture is based on a central management unit and independent, compact component modules — an alarm button, a microphone, loudspeakers and a camera — which allows any arrangement and trouble-free installation even in spaces with very limited dimensions, such as SOS columns, lift panels, platform canopies or info-kiosks. The management module operates directly in an IP network environment based on the universal SIP protocol, which ensures full interoperability with station dispatch communication systems and PSIM security management platforms. Exceptional energy efficiency is confirmed by a negligible power consumption not exceeding 1.8 W, while installation flexibility is guaranteed by the option of powering it both from a DC 12 V source and directly via the network bus using PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology.
