The HUSAR SC time server is a specialised industrial-class device, designed for the precise distribution of reference UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) to station and platform clocks and integrated telecommunication systems in modern railway infrastructure. The synchronisation and transmission of time information are carried out via the standard network protocols NTP (Network Time Protocol) and SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol), which guarantees full compatibility with executive devices and the highest timing stability in IP networks. To ensure maximum operational security and continuity of synchronisation, the HUSAR SC server allows up to four independent superordinate server addresses to be configured, creating multi-stage redundancy of the time source in the event of a loss of connection with a single reference node. Everything is enclosed in a compact, standardised 1U industrial housing (19″ RACK), which allows quick, trouble-free installation in telecommunication and server cabinets in signal boxes, technical posts and railway stations, forming the reliable heart of the HUSAR TIME subsystem.
