The station in Opalenica, on the Warsaw–Berlin line, was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. As part of the reconstruction, the original historic features of the facility were restored, combined with contemporary forms and details of the finished façade.
The main entrance leads directly to the hall, in which our Station Summary Displays were installed. The boards inform travellers about train arrivals/departures and all additional information, i.e. intermediate stops, destinations and emergency situations. The wait for a journey is also streamlined by our Public-Address System, which covers the entire station zone. The facility was equipped with a Time Signalling System based on NTP, enabling precise time synchronisation.
The reconstruction of the station in Opalenica was carried out as part of the Station Investment Programme with EU co-financing from the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment.
