Gdańsk Główny — one of the most beautiful and recognisable railway stations in Poland — is open.
The facility stands out with its beautiful brick façade with many restored details. The building’s historic character was restored. The original wall colour scheme was reconstructed, the oak ticket-office windows and the original door joinery were recreated. After many years, the coats of arms of Pomeranian cities also returned to the station — they were recreated on the basis of archival materials.
The station has all passenger conveniences, including a dynamic passenger information system, a voice information system, a monitoring system, ticket machines, clear signage and convenient access to trains thanks to ramps, lifts and escalators. We had the opportunity to take part in the facility’s conveniences and installed our devices at the station, including Main Station Displays, Station Summary Displays and Information Displays.
