Modern railway stations, regardless of their size, should be characterised by good visual orientation (signage and information) and a sense of passenger safety. These expectations are met by the Innovative System Station in Wasilków, equipped by our company with a Dynamic Passenger Information System, an Access Control System, an Intruder and Hold-up Alarm System, an SOS System and CCTV monitoring.
Our tasks included integrating the station’s Public-Address System with the platform. Using a controller of our own manufacture, we created two public-address zones. The PA system includes, among others, horn loudspeakers, ceiling loudspeakers, a microphone console and amplifiers. In the waiting room zone we installed two Station Summary Displays, which provide information about the type and time of train departures/arrivals. One clock with a dial diameter of 600 mm is positioned on the structure, under the canopy. On the 8-metre wall of the building we installed a second clock, a tower clock whose dial diameter reaches 1800 mm.
In addition to the delivery, installation and commissioning of the SDIP, CCTV, access control, SOS and intruder alarm devices, our tasks also included preparing the telecommunications design in accordance with the current PKP S.A. guidelines.
