The Station Investment Programme for 2016–2023 counteracts transport exclusion in smaller towns. Covered by the programme, the railway station in Chrzęsne, which we had the pleasure of co-creating, was put into service.
A station is one of the most important public buildings of a town. In addition to good visual orientation, it must above all be functional. The Public-Address System we commissioned meets all PKP S.A. requirements; the appropriate arrangement of the devices affects the quality of the voice messages received and reaches every part of the passenger zone. Our Station Summary Displays for arrivals/departures, installed in the waiting room zone, provide information about the current execution of the timetable and all necessary information about changes/delays. Under the station canopy are our double-sided 600 mm clocks. On the 8-metre wall of the building we placed a tower clock whose dial diameter reaches 1800 mm.
Safety was significantly increased by the installation of devices: CCTV monitoring, an Access Control System, an Intruder and Hold-up Alarm System and an SOS System.
