Pruszcz Gdański — a town in the Pomorskie Voivodeship, in the Gdańsk district, on the Radunia river, part of the Tricity metropolitan area, adjoining Gdańsk from the south.
The station in Pruszcz Gdański has a simple, geometric massing and a façade of glass, aluminium and clinker brick. The clock tower is also noteworthy. The passenger service area was maximally lit through the use of glazing, while the station’s technical facilities are “hidden” behind a clinker-brick façade.
At the station, Station Summary Displays and a call-for-help system in the toilets were installed — thanks to the latter, help can be summoned at any time in an emergency.
The PKP Pruszcz Gdański station was created as part of the Station Investment Programme for 2016–2023 with EU co-financing from the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment. It is a modern, functional and comfortable station adapted to the needs of all passengers.
