Two years ago, in the capital of the Subcarpathian region, the Rzeszów Główny station was rebuilt and a new passenger stop — Rzeszów Zachodni — was built. The modernised, modern station at Rzeszów Główny, with its comfortable platforms and underground passage, encourages people to use the railway. The footbridge was removed and replaced by an underground passage containing lifts and escalators. The culmination of these investments is to be the installation of systems that will significantly increase the level of safety and passenger information.
