The city with the greatest passenger turnover is Warsaw. It has a very well developed network of railway lines connecting almost all districts and many municipalities of the Warsaw metropolitan area. Stops and stations equipped with the appropriate infrastructure make it easier to organise travel efficiently. Every day, thousands of people use the conveniences of the Dynamic Passenger Information Systems located in the platform areas.
It is in the capital that we have provided technical support for 50 interchange points, i.e. railway stations and passenger stops. The Public-Address System, which consists of over 1,200 devices, must operate without disruption, and the messages broadcast by the loudspeakers must be clear and understandable to listeners.
Our technical staff watches over the efficiency of the Time Signalling Systems, the Passenger Information Systems and the Dynamic Passenger Information Systems 24 hours a day. The clocks, of which there are over 120, must indicate the time with an accuracy no worse than ± 50 ms. Regular service inspections significantly reduce the risk of a serious failure.
The tasks entrusted to us also include keeping in proper technical condition, maintaining and carrying out emergency repairs of a network of over 170 SDIP devices, i.e.: double-sided and single-sided platform-edge displays, entrance displays, single-sided and double-sided info-kiosks, indicator displays and station displays.
The stations and stops within our scope include, among others:
Piaseczno
Legionowo
Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki
Sulejówek
Warsaw:
Wschodnia
Zachodnia
Stadion
Powiśle
Ochota
Ursus Płn.
Aleje Jerozolimskie
Rakowiec
Służewiec
Żwirki i Wigury
Lotnisko Chopina
And many other points used by tourists and the local community.
To conscientiously inspect and maintain the above devices in proper condition requires the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience — and these are precisely the strengths of our Sat-System technical team.
