The station, located in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, in the West Warsaw district, in the Ożarów Mazowiecki municipality. Built in 1953, it is under conservation protection. Architecturally, it is a successful attempt to combine the pre-war school of design, showcasing motifs of Polish building tradition, with the doctrine of socialist realism imposed in the 1950s. The architectural details of the façade were renovated and restored. In accordance with the conservator’s recommendations, the plasterwork was repaired and painted, the window and door joinery was completely replaced, and the terrazzo floors in the entrance areas were refurbished.
In addition to modernising the investment, the station must above all be functional, safe and adapted to the needs of all the facility’s passengers. The Time Signalling System we commissioned meets all PKP S.A. requirements and conveys real-time information. Our Station Summary Displays provide information about the current execution of the timetable and all necessary information about changes/delays. In addition, the selected loudspeakers include horn and ceiling loudspeakers, distributed in accordance with the current PKP S.A. guidelines so that the broadcast voice messages are understandable in every zone of the station. Furthermore, we equipped the station with a call-for-help system designed for installation in the toilets to summon help in an emergency. We deployed our new product FALCON PSIM, which is the first physical security information management platform on the Polish market. It provides a centralised, multi-user solution for managing facility security.
