The building’s transformation made it possible to combine tradition — by preserving the historic floor and old shutters — while introducing modern technological solutions adapted to the needs of passengers, including people with disabilities and reduced mobility.
In the central part of the waiting room we installed WZS Station Summary Displays, cooperating with the Central Dynamic Passenger Information Application (CASDIP) of PKP PLK S.A. Designed for continuous operation, they are used to present information about the currently applicable timetable.
High-quality voice messages are broadcast thanks to the devices of the Public-Address System, expanded with microphone consoles.
To ensure safety at the station, we installed special Husar SOS bathroom panels in the toilets, enabling help to be summoned in emergencies.
