Product description
The background-noise sensor of the HUSAR CT ANS series is an advanced industrial-class measuring device designed for the intelligent optimisation of the sound level in zoned public-address (PA) systems at railway stations, terminals and interchange centres. The device is used for the continuous, precise monitoring of the level of ambient noise using a built-in, highly sensitive measurement microphone. Based on the current readings from the CT ANS sensor, the superordinate public-address system dynamically and automatically corrects the volume of the broadcast voice messages and timetable announcements, maintaining the required signal-to-noise ratio in a given public-address zone. This solution guarantees perfect speech intelligibility during noisy platform events (e.g. the arrival of a heavy freight train or intensive passenger movement), while at the same time preventing excessive, disruptive noise during periods of quiet. The HUSAR CT ANS sensor is an indispensable element of the modern HUSAR PA system, significantly increasing passengers’ acoustic comfort and meeting rigorous standards for the intelligibility of safety messages and passenger information.
