On 7 November, the Railway Station in Sadurki was officially opened. This type B Innovative System Station was designed as a larger facility, containing an enclosed, separate waiting room equipped with air conditioning. This IDS type also includes ticket-office rooms and separate commercial spaces for retail and service outlets.
Of course, Sat-System again played its part in preparing a place with conveniences for travellers. Safety was significantly increased by the installation of devices: CCTV monitoring, an Access Control System, an Intruder and Hold-up Alarm System and an SOS System.
Additionally, in the station’s waiting room, we installed and commissioned our WZS Station Summary Displays, and horn loudspeakers and ceiling loudspeakers with their subsystems, single-sided indoor clocks and double-sided outdoor clocks were distributed throughout the facility.
The architectural focal point is a tower with a façade made of larch wood, on which we placed a tower clock.
The construction of Innovative System Stations (IDS) is part of the Station Investment Programme for 2016–2023 carried out by PKP S.A.
